What is StreetPrint?

The Durability and Longevity of StreetPrint Asphalt Surfaces

StreetPrint pavement texturing is a patented decorative application and paving system that uses specially designed templates to apply and imprint asphalt, creating a unique look.

It’s the most problem-free and economical decorative paving system and offers a wide range of patterns and colors to choose from.

StreetPrint, just like concrete, is a stamped application that can be applied during or after installing asphalt. The proprietary surfacing system used in the application is called StreetBond. StreetBond is used to fortify and color the surface. The result resembles a hand-laid brick application.

How to Install StreetPrint

Installing StreetPrint on a pre-installed asphalt driveway in good condition can save much money on pavement costs. This is because the asphalt base provides better stability and durability than surfaces like brick pavers.

StreetPrint application is easier, quicker, and less tedious than other decorative paving surfaces. Its installation is done by professional paving and construction companies (Licensed StreetPrint Applicators) as it involves specific techniques that trained professionals can only apply.

How the StreetPrint Installation Process Works:

  • Heat the asphalt using a gentle reciprocating pavement heater.
  • Imprint the StreetPrint, then remove pattern templates- press StreetPrint weaved steel templates into warmed asphalt. Use a plate compactor, then remove it after a while.
  • Genuine StreetBond high-performance coating is applied using a StreetPrint sprayer.

Benefits of StreetPrint

Environmental Friendly

StreetPrint paving contributes to a healthy environment as they are non-toxic, water-based, and completely recyclable. StreetPrint products also contain very low levels of VOC (volatile organic content).

Durable

In comparison to other asphalt coating products, StreetPrint coatings are more durable. The coating is resistant to water damage and has a high tolerance to traffic wear. It contains superior adhesion characteristics, making it a better decorative asphalt application.

Flexible

One of the features of StreetPrint is its ability to adapt and work with the normal expansion and contraction of asphalt driveways without peeling, cracking, or delaminating. Its flexibility makes StreePrint more reliable and cost-friendly than other decorative pave applications. This is because the repairs to it are not as frequent.

Color Stability

StreetPrint paving does not quickly fade out. This is because it incorporates UV-stable pigments that are fade resistant to direct and harsh sunlight.

Resistant to Chemicals

When exposed to fuels, car oil, deicing agents, and other chemicals, StreetPrint does not corrode or deteriorate as fast as other decorative pave applications.

StreetPrint other advantages include LEED compliance, renewability, and monolithic uniformity.

Where is StreetPrint Applied?

  • Pathways
  • Parking lots
  • Plazas
  • Driveways
  • Street improvements
  • Residential developments
  • Institutions
  • Traffic-slowling treatments

Maintaining an adequately manicured StreetPrint driveway or parking lot is detrimental to the overall look of your business and the lifespan of your driveway.

Rinse the surface with water regularly to remove debris and abrasive material like sand and gravel. Despite its resistance to chemicals and oils, it’s advisable to clean spots as soon as possible. You may need to recoat your surface to maintain the desired look eventually.
